An architect, illustrator, project manager, public speaker and 30-year veteran of the entertainment, hospitality, commercial and retail industries, Johnnie combines business insights and innovative design to produce some of the world’s most unique and recognized branded experiences. Johnnie has held senior executive roles with creative pioneers such as the Marriott Hotel Corporation, Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, Home Shopping Network and Cornerstone.
As Vice President of Imagineering, he and his teams created some of the world’s most cherished branded experiences at Disney properties across the globe. Johnnie was involved in the development, master planning, conceptualization and design of numerous Disney Hotels, Resorts, Cruises and Entertainment venues. His teams have been industry-recognized with over 31 international awards including “Retail Store of the Year” for The World of Disney.
Johnnie works across all areas of the McBride Company to ensure production of the most successful, innovative, and compelling project solutions. He uses his diverse skills and industry experience to define, expand and reinforce brands; and to add identity to environments, products and experiences.
