For GrowHealthy — a model organization poised to become one of America’s largest and most trusted chains of medical-grade cannabis nursery farms — cultivation of marijuana is an art form. Aiming to celebrate this pillar through the quality, safety, efficacy and design of both their products and physical space, GrowHealthy’s parent company iAnthus enlisted The McBride Company to develop a prototype retail concept in West Palm Beach, Florida that encourages transparency, education, and a natural lifestyle.

The McBride Company, a creative concept and design firm that specializes in conceptualizing, branding and designing immersive experiences and exciting destinations for hospitality, retail and entertainment brands, is spearheading the conceptual design and creative development process, as well as designing interiors, signage and graphics. The design of GrowHealthy’s retail prototype will exude a warm, inviting, and contemporary ambiance that will first and foremost celebrate the craft of cultivating and reaping the healing benefits of the product itself: cannabis.

The approximately 2,100-square-foot retail space will mirror the hi-tech, industrial-style of GrowHealthy’s multi-million dollar, state-of-the-art hydroponic indoor nursery. Outfitted with concrete floors, exposed ceilings and a brand-forward palette of wood tones and vivid green accents, GrowHealthy’s interactive space will feature graphic artwork narrating the company story, creative abstractions of the plant’s flower, and cutting-edge 3D mapping technology from Ideum.

As visitors move through the welcoming reception area, they will find intuitive informational and POS stations, two private consultation rooms, and a casual lounge designed to encourage conversation and to accommodate community outreach events. The store will be anchored by a unique sculptural display — back-lit panels featuring the GrowHealthy story flanked by technology panels intended to immerse shoppers in the origins of the brand and products.

The GrowHealthy prototype is set to open in late 2018.
